Group Ketamine Therapy for Women
Get a fresh perspective on healing in your relationships
You feel like you are doing it all and feel completely overwhelmed.
You’ve been through a lot and you know that the traumas of your past have never been resolved. It’s impacted so much of your life already, and by pushing it away and down you hope you can just keep going. But then there’s another panic attack or bout of depression that you can’t seem to shake.
You’ve thought about therapy but it takes time, effort, and commitment and you’re already juggling it all. But you know, deep down inside, you need to shift things. Learn to create boundaries, say what you mean, and mean what you say but somehow that just feels so hard!
It makes you feel defeated, tired and alone. You know you want change and you know that it starts with you, but you don't know where to begin.
Your relationships are suffering and you feel like you aren’t showing up as your best self in any of the places you’d like to. You want to be a present, caring partner, mother, and friend, but you feel like you’re drowning.
You’ve been going through this for a really long time now, and you feel alone and like no one really understands. You don’t want to burden anyone else with your issues.
You are not alone.
There are hundreds and thousands of women out there just like you. Women who feel anxious and overwhelmed by their trauma, and find it difficult to juggle all of their current responsibilities.
Over the past few years I’ve had an increase in my practice of partners, mostly female, who call for information regarding couples therapy and even book appointments only to have their partner not show up, or do so begrudgingly for one or two sessions. They end up feeling even more frustrated and hopeless about ever making the changes they so desperately want to see in their relationships.
Many of these women often stay in therapy on their own and make huge breakthroughs. They learn how to work through their past trauma, communicate their needs, create healthy boundaries, and begin to show up so differently in their relationships.
They are able to get back to enjoying their lives and it’s so rewarding for them, and also for me.
Hope for YOU
I want the same for you. To be able to create a life, a relationship and love worth keeping close to your heart. While you may be thinking, the road is too long to get there, “I’m already strapped for time to focus on myself.” I offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Groups for women, just like you. That can help accelerate the healing, in shorter amounts of time, while using the powerful tool of Ketamine combined with therapy.

Why Ketamine?
The short answer is this: it’s powerful! I know you’re short on time and energy, but you really want a big change. You want to get back to feeling like yourself. The true you that’s grounded and connected to your intuition. The you that feels confident in your decision making and isn’t weighed down by the anxiety or depression that feels so heavy.
In this 8-week group we will leverage the power of Ketamine and community to help create big strides and lasting change.
Ketamine is a well-researched, legal, safe, medication prescribed by a doctor. KAP synergizes ketamine and psychotherapy for a deeper healing experience.
Ketamine use creates enhanced neuroplasticity, which means your brain will be more open and able to move towards the changes you’ll be creating in thought patterns and ways of seeing yourself. Ketamine has also been shown to create immediate antidepressant effects and provides access to new insights that you may not have regularly.
You may be worried or afraid to process some of your past traumas that you know are impacting your life because it can feel incredibly uncomfortable and increase your anxiety or depression, but Ketamine allows for deeper trauma processing with less feelings of activation in the body.
Prior to our group starting, you will complete a medical consultation with a doctor who will determine appropriate dosing and provide a prescription that is delivered to your home. This consultation will allow you to answer any questions you may have about Ketamine and the dosing process.
A full KAP series of 6-8 sessions is the ideal way to create the most potent and long-lasting benefits of KAP.
At-Home Dosing Sessions
The first group meeting will be a two-hour workshop to prepare you for at-home dosing sessions, intention setting for your dosing sessions, and allow you to get to know other group members.
Dosing will take place in the comfort of your own home. You will just need a quiet place and a couple hours to get fully immersed into the experience.
You will have the weekend to complete each dosing session in the comfort of your own home and attend group meetings virtually on Monday evenings to receive support and integrate your experience.
Why Group?
Community is one of the most powerful and healing tools we can access as humans. When you see that you are not alone in your experience and gain the support of an amazing group of women, your life can be completely transformed.
The group experience allows you to learn from others, receive encouragement and support, and make sense of what you learned during your dosing experience. This group is limited to 6 participants to allow for connection and to reduce the cost of individual guided dosing and integration sessions which are normally $750 for a 3-hour private dosing session and $225 for subsequent integration session.

FAQs

I know this isn’t a question, but it is something I hear in consults all the time. The truth is, you are not alone. Many of my clients have never explored psychedelic substances at all and use minimal (if any) substances recreationally. There is a reason that ketamine is one of the first substances that has been legalized to be used as part of Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
-
Absolutely! According to a study conducted by Yale University, many chronically depressed and treatment-resistant patients experience immediate relief from symptoms after taking small amounts of the drug ketamine. Ketamine therapy has a swift short-term effect on reducing symptoms of depression and suicidal thoughts, according to a review of all the available evidence provided by University of Exeter.

I have a partnership with the medical team at Journey Clinical, and after I develop a good working relationship with my clients I refer them for a quick, online medical evaluation, and when eligible they receive a prescription for ketamine lozenges. They bring their prescription to my office and I help provide a serene and calming environment for their medicine journeys.

I have a partnership with the medical team at Journey Clinical. You will meet with a medical professional virtually who will do a thorough evaluation to determine if you are eligible and it is safe to do ketamine assisted psychotherapy. If it is, you’ll be prescribed the ketamine, and you’ll bring your filled prescription to your ketamine sessions.

Ketamine sessions are amazing and can lead to a sense of well-being. However, the research you see of how impactful it can be long-term is when people experience ketamine therapy in conjunction with support on integrating the experience. Together we work on establishing goals and intentions for your treatment and I help you to integrate what you experience along with the other women in the group.
-
I am not your run of the mill therapist and I have other beyond talk therapy options that consistently help people make big progress quickly and effectively. Don’t worry- I’ve got you. And, if I am not the right fit for some reason- we’ll get you connected to who is! You also will not be charged by the medical team if this is not the best fit for you.
-
At some point during the 8 weeks, you may decide to skip a dosing session or feel like it’s just not a good fit for you and I encourage all of my clients to listen to their intuition. In these cases you may speak with me directly and we will map out a plan that may still include connection in the group meetings for support.
-
I understand that illness and other unforeseen obstacles occur, and you may need to miss a session, however if you are unable to commit to all 8 sessions please discuss this in your consultation call. In order to maintain group cohesion and provide the best support, commitment to all 8 sessions is required and you will still be billed for missed sessions.
“Ketamine doesn’t give you what you don’t already have, ketamine gives you access to what you have that’s been blocked by grief, loss, and sadness.”
